· How do you feel when you see yourself in a photo or captured on film?
Well, I can be very critical of myself, especially about my looks. I usually have to get past my ego to then see what’s really important. When I’m acting, the character comes across when I ‘lose myself‘, so that‘s what I strive to do. In truth, I don’t usually enjoy watching myself on film nearly as much as I enjoy the acting process itself.
· How far have you gone to get a part?
I ended up cutting off most my hair to play Shakespeare’s Prince Edward, a 14-year-old boy. It seemed particularly important to do this part since I had just played a series of ‘sexy’ roles, and wanted to avoid being typecast. It was fun too, since I got to learn how to handle the broadsword!
· What one specific food drives you bonkers?
That would have to be chocolate. I realize I’m not the only woman in love with chocolate, but that’s because it’s just so yummy!
